The Chilkoot 32 Quilt is a brand new addition to Stone Glaciers' famed Chilkoot sleeping bags. The quilt focuses on warmth-to-weight ratio and is highly packable, packing down to a stuffed size of 9.5" x 13". The 850 fill HyperDRY goose down is extremely lofty and is treated with a water-repellent finish, this helps the down clusters to maintain loft and warmth when wet. Pertex Quantum shell fabric does a great job of shedding water and is wind resistant for tarp and bivy camping during scouting and other early season adventures. The Pertex Quantum fabric in this quilt uses yarn with unique Y shaped filaments, these filaments create a tightly interlocking barrier to improve the fabric's downproof and water beading properties. Super DWR finish used on the Chilkoot Quilt is extremely durable and maintains a high level of performance after extended wear and wash cycles. The quilt features an articulated foot box and differential cut to provide comfort, warmth, and maintain loft around the user regardless of the sleeping position. The snap closure neck baffle keeps warm body heat trapped in for chilly nights while four adjustable straps help regulate temperature and secure the quilt to the bag.
The Chilkoot Quilt is rated for use down to 32 degrees when used with an adequately R-Value-rated sleeping pad. A quilt has an open back so you will be sleeping directly on the sleeping pad, select the proper sleeping pad for the climate you anticipate.
